Conscious Breathing and Emotional Release
Many people experience strong emotional releases during their sessions. It is important to know that this is a normal part of the process, and there is nothing to fear. To hold in a suppressed emotion or past trauma is much more damaging to yourself and body than it is to let them out. The focus of connected breathing is to access the energy, or "prana," in the breath, inducing states of deep relaxation and bliss. In this process, any emotional blockages and experiences not completely integrated can come to the surface to be fully experienced, and released.
By doing the connected breath you are signaling to every cell of your body that now is the time, and now it is safe, to allow these stored memories to rise up for the sole purpose of being let go.
